  • Ideation & Design

We begin the design process with brainstorming ideas, creating look books, and sketching out rough plans. Throughout the process, the designs become more detailed and clients have a clear depiction of the designed spaces. The ideas are fine tuned to create moodboards & renderings, which are then used to create purchase lists for ordering.

  • Moodboards & Renderings

2D and 3D visual representation packages are available to help the client visualize the overall theme and layout. Moodboards & Renderings are fine tuned and created from the ideation process to assist the start of budgeting for the purchase lists. Animated walkthroughs, 360 movable panoramics, and VR options available upon request.

  • Purchase Lists & Budgeting

Sabina V and the client discuss project budget requirements as a guideline. From the moodboards & renderings, Sabina V will produce a project breakdown and timeline, and create purchase lists for all furniture, lighting, appliances, decor, etc. Purchase & assembly packages are also available as a white glove service.

Sabina V has experience in both residential and commercial build outs, and in most cases can project potential design and build costs early in the design process (using projected design fees and contractor quotes from the start).

  • Most designers are more preoccupied with acquiring new clients and providing pretty renderings (which I don't deny look beautiful), but have little concern for actual buildout costs.

  • Most clients don't look into budget breakdowns for the whole project until the plans are ready to permit. Inaccurate contractor quotes (unless adequately checked, contractors will put inaccurate costs to bait you and then surprise you with additional costs mid project), not including appliances and furniture, not calculating square footages on finishes for rough finish selection costs, etc…can all lead to thousands of dollars of budget overages.

  • Disappointed and frustrated clients have then paid for a design they can't afford to build and have to make change orders, or run out of money through the project, prolonging their build out.
